Led by the Executive Committee, the FCHCC is always looking for volunteers.

If you are a member and any of the following committees sparks your interest, submit the Committee Participation Application.

Communications and Public Relations: Led by Carlos Bouvier & Francisco Sefair

  • Develops, approves and publishes all FCHCC communications
  • Oversees the production and distribution of the Conexion Newsletter
  • Manages content on the FCHCC website with information about upcoming networking and special events

Community Outreach: Led by Becky Vasko

  • Fosters positive relationships, connections, partnerships and programs between businesses, non-profits, and other community groups and organizations in the Jacksonville area.
  • Dedicated to promoting Hispanic heritage and business through outreach to other cultural business organizations and to our multicultural community at large.

Education and Training: Led by Carmen Gonzalez

  • Sets policy and procedures for "Achieving the Dream" scholarship awards.
  • Oversees scholarship selection process.
  • Plans and develops education and training programs to meet the needs of the FCHCC members and the Hispanic community.
  • Works to integrate education and learning as a core principle of the First Coast Hispanic community.

Membership: Led by Nelson Estepa & Zsuzsanna Rivera

  • Assists in the education, growth and perpetuation of the Chamber's membership
  • Promotes, reviews and verifies membership applications

Programs: Led by Annie Grogan

  • Strengthens the Chamber's brand through event planning and logistics management.
  • Ensures that all Chamber-sponsored events reflect the highest professional standards set forth by our members.

Scholarship Event: Angelica Guardia & Idania Lizano

  • Solicits sponsorship and funding for the "Achieving the Dream" event.
  • Manages all aspects of the scholarship event: from entertainment to catering; from finding a venue to managing the call for applications.

Chamber Chats: For Members ONLY

Are you looking for an opportunity to meet and network with fellow Hispanic business professionals in the Jacksonville area? Then, don’t miss our Chamber Chat events. Chamber Chats are held every other month at local Jacksonville area restaurants.

There is no formal agenda, program, or speakers, but our members get a chance to mingle and introduce themselves and their business to the entire group. The rest is up to you! Come hear what your fellow business colleagues are doing in their work, their jobs, or their businesses. Build your brand and your individual network of potential clients or business associates. Everyone is welcomed!
