Member Spotlight: Myrna Rivera - U.S. Legal Services

My name is Myrna Rivera and I represent U.S. Legal Services. I was motivated to become an FCHCC member after I attended my first networking event. Two of the things that I enjoy the most are meeting new people and helping others; I was able to do both at the event.


The following is a brief summary of what U.S. Legal Services is all about. U.S. Legal Services is the oldest most comprehensive legal plan in the United States. Since its inception in 1974, U.S. Legal Services has successfully expanded into all 50 states, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico by focusing only on what they do best: legal expense insurance. The emphasis on legal expense insurance gives U.S. Legal Services the ability to dedicate the time required to concentrate on constantly improving and updating its legal plans through the use of technology. This allows U.S. Legal Services to provide better and more efficient solutions to your employees' legal needs. 

U.S. Legal Services offers a comprehensive legal plan that covers 100% of attorneys' fees for most legal problems. In fact, the U.S. Legal Services Family Defender Plan is designed to provide a wide array of legal plans for members of large organizations, employees in the public and private sector, and custom designed programs to fit the employees' needs. It has been documented that employees who have enrolled in the U.S. Legal Family Defender Plan and have access to an attorney for normal everyday legal issues have decreased employee time away from work, while giving the employee peace of mind.
