President's Message - Giselle Carson
g_carsonWe are proud to recognize and congratulate the influential and progressive companies that made Diversity Inc. Magazine list of Top 50 Companies for Diversity.  In particularly those that are active supporters of the Hispanic Chamber including Blue Cross Blue Shield, CSX, Merrill Lynch and Wachovia.

Attention to the challenges and opportunities of a multicultural workforce is a critical factor in business success.  An engaged diverse workforce leads to better decision making, higher creativity and innovation, successful marketing opportunities and a more stable workforce.

I challenge companies to ask themselves, "What are we doing to remain competitive and attract and retain the best qualified workers? What are we doing to support local diversity?"  If you are not a member, I invite you to join the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to learn and network with Hispanics and other professionals.

For upcoming networking and educational opportunities, please see additional information in this e-newsletter. See you at Jaxport!

The past three decades have brought growth and strength to their company, and they see the future as an opportunity.
